Our Programs
Path of Honor Foundation offers a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the needs of veterans at various stages of post-service life. These programs are intentionally designed to be peer-led, trauma-informed, and community-driven. All of our services are provided free of charge to veterans, and are accessible both in person and through remote platforms where possible.
Peer Mentorship Our peer mentorship program connects veterans with trained mentors who have walked a similar path. Mentors provide emotional support, help identify goals, and serve as consistent guides through the challenges of post-service life. These relationships are built on trust, confidentiality, and mutual respect. Mentorship sessions focus on active listening, encouragement, accountability, and personal development.
Support Groups Our support groups are facilitated by peer leaders who create a welcoming and structured space for veterans to talk, reflect, and connect. Topics vary and may include transition stress, trauma recovery, grief and loss, identity beyond service, and rebuilding after hardship. These groups are designed to reduce isolation, foster trust, and provide shared learning and healing.
Resource Navigation Many veterans struggle to access the benefits and services they are entitled to. We help participants navigate systems such as the VA, healthcare providers, housing services, and workforce programs. Our team ensures that veterans receive accurate information and hands-on assistance with applications, appointments, and referrals.
Workshops and Educational Sessions Throughout the year, we host a variety of educational workshops focused on topics such as financial literacy, employment readiness, communication skills, trauma-informed parenting, and community leadership. These sessions are led by professionals and experienced facilitators and are tailored to the unique strengths and challenges of the veteran community.
Community Engagement Reconnection with community is a vital part of recovery. We organize events such as service projects, wellness retreats, public panels, and outreach campaigns that allow veterans to engage meaningfully with others and with the larger community. These events not only uplift participants but also increase public understanding and appreciation of veterans’ continued contributions.
All of our services are shaped by feedback from the veterans we serve. Our approach is flexible, responsive, and rooted in relationships.
